PFR Hosts Traditional Igisoro Game Ahead of World Refugee Day
As part of the ongoing preparations for World Refugee Day, PFR organized a traditional Igisoro game at Mugombwa Refugee Camp today, bringing together elders in a vibrant display of culture and community spirit.
The event aimed to promote cultural preservation and strengthen social bonds among refugee communities. Igisoro, a cherished traditional board game, provided a platform for elders to engage, share knowledge, and connect through friendly competition.
The winners of today’s tournament will be officially recognized and awarded during the upcoming World Refugee Day celebration, further highlighting the importance of community participation in commemorating this global event.
PFR remains committed to supporting initiatives that celebrate identity, resilience, and unity within refugee communities.
